Day 03:- Imphal

​

Early morning visit Govindaji temple. Thereafter drive to the tall Shahid Minar at the Bir Tirkendrajit Park that was built in memory of Manipur's martyrs who sacrificed their lives for India's independence. Thereafter go for the Manipur State Museum. The museum has a rich collection of Manipuri costumes; war material, historical documents and remnant, and gives you a sample of the state's complex history. From there visit the IMA market (Mothers market). Afternoon will go for Kangla Fort. After having diner on hotel, overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04:- Imphal – Tuophema

​

Today morning, drive to Tuophema. Touphema Tourist Village runs by Naga village community. On arrival, check in at the village. After having diner on hotel, overnight stay at the resort.

Day 05:- Tuophema – Kohima

​

After breakfast, drive down to Kohima (2 hours) the capital of Nagaland. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Afternoon will go for local market. After having diner on hotel, overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06:- Kohima

​

This morning, excursion of Kohima visiting the WW II Cemetery, nestled in the heart of Kohima town, where one of the horrid battles of WWII was fought. Also visit State Museum. It gives you a glimpse into the various facet of Naga culture. Visit the Catholic Cathedral, built by the Japanese for the brave soldiers who lost their lives in the Second World War. After having diner on hotel, overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 07:- Kohima – Kaziranga

​

After breakfast, drive down to Kaziranga National Park, (220 km/ 6 hours) a world heritage site and popular for the one horned rhino. On arrival, check in at the lodge. After having diner on hotel, overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 08:- Kaziranga

​

Early in the morning go for an elephant ride. Enjoy the ride through the Park for 1 hr. to appreciate the glory of famous one horned rhino, wild elephant, etc. up close.

After breakfast, Jeep safari inside the Central range of the park. This drive is an ideal acquaintance to the park and its ecology as the route passes through the entire spectrum of habitat types prevalent in the area. There is a probability of sighting elephants as well as the other Mega herbivores, Swamp deer etc.

Afternoon go on a Jeep safari inside Western range of the National Park to enjoy the wildlife of the park. The route traverses the southwest portion of the park. This range has maximum short grass areas and is the optimum habitat for Rhino and Water Buffalo. After having diner on hotel, overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 09:- Kaziranga – Majuli

​

After an early breakfast drive 02 hours to Neemati Ghat for your ferry ride to Majuli, one of the biggest inhabited river islands in the world. Another 02 hours downstream boat cruise will take you to Majuli nestled between Subansiri and Brahmaputra River, famous for the Assamese Vaishnavite satras or monasteries, the Mishing tribal and also for the migratory birds that come here from different parts of the world. On arrival, visit the famous satras (monastery) of Majuli. These monasteries where set up by Srimanta Shankerdev, the leader of the Vaishnavite revivalism in the 16th century. These monasteries nurture the traditional dance of „Satriya‟, (which is a national dance of India), music, and crafts such as mask making besides religious teachings. Thereafter visit a Mishing tribal village with Mishing tribal houses that are typified by being built on stilts and their „long house‟ style of design. Dinner and overnight at the traditional Mishing chang.

 

Day 10:- Majuli – Mon

After breakfast proceed to the ferry ghat for your ferry to Neematighat and then drive to Mon. On arrival, check in at guest house. After having diner on hotel, overnight stay at the guest house.

Day 11:- Mon – Longwa – Mon

​

After having breakfast depart for Longwa (42 Km/ 3 hrs.). Enroute stop at the bank of river Tapi / Taphi. The beautiful Longwa village is ranked among the biggest villages in Mon. As the village straddles the international boundary line, one half of the Angh's house falls within the Indian Territory and the other half in Myanmar. Here, literally, the totem pillar that juts out above the roof divides the house into two countries and the Angh takes his meals in India and sleeps in Myanmar. The angh and the village council chairman administer the whole village. The village has also become a major trade point between India and Myanmar. Thereafter drive back to Mon. On the way, visit some other villages. After having diner on hotel, overnight stay at the house.

Day 12:- Mon – Dibrugarh

​

Today drive to Dibrugarh (190 km/ 6 hours) a historic old important tea town of Assam. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. After having diner on hotel, overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 13:- Dibrugarh

​

Morning after breakfast, drive to Duliajan (55 km/ 1 hour) to visit the famous bell temple. It is believed that if you have a wish and tie a bell here, your wish is fulfilled. From there drive 45 mins to the Nam Phake village to see the life style and culture of the Tai Phake people who migrated from Thailand hundreds of years ago and settled in Assam. Visit the Buddhist temple. Thereafter drive back to Dibrugarh. After having diner on hotel, overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 14:- Dibrugarh – Depart

​

Morning after breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight back home.
